Invasion VIII: Interview with David

Invasion VIII: Interview with DavidEurolanche Invasion VIII will be organized between February 24 and March 10. A record number of 12 members from 5 countries will travel to Denver. Eurolanche.com will introduce each member in the interviews.

Eurolanche Invasion VIII will be a unique trip in many ways. The overall number of participants speaks for itself. A highlight of the Fan Club’s eighth trip to Colorado will be visits to two outdoor games – Stadium Series game between Colorado Avalanche and Detroit Red Wings and Alumni Game between veterans and All-Star players of both teams. In total, 12 members will visit seven Avalanche games. Besides unforgettable meetings with the players and other people around the Avs hockey, the schedule will include many trips and activities in Colorado and also out of the State, like for example a trip to Las Vegas.

Do not miss:

David Puchovsky, 25, Founder and President of Eurolanche Fan Club, has been the Avalanche fan since 2000. He will travel to Denver for the seventh time this year, all-time record amongst all participatns. He worked for the most read national daily newspaper in Slovakia called ‘Novy Cas’ for long time and wrote a book ‘Unesene/Kidnapped’ about two cases of three kidnapped kids that he located on his own.

Why did you decide to come back to Denver for the seventh time?

When a man “tastes” Colorado State for one time, he would become an addict. I always love to be back and always will. I experience something different every time, but remember on old places, memories as well. It is also a big responsibility to organize it, but I like challenges. Total number of 12 participants suggests the Invasion VIII will be the best trip in our history.

Aren’t you afraid you will experience the same?

Definitely no. Of course I won’t be able to avoid certain places, attractions. I consider Denver to be my second home. And everybody do the same every days in his “first” home. Denver has higher value to me, so I will enjoy everything there again.

What do you expect of the Eurolanche Invasion VIII and what are you looking forward most on?

On overall atmosphere of 12-man group, games, meetings with players, trips, ride to Las Vegas… It is a lot. I am looking forward on every second in Denver.

What is your greatest memory or experience of the past Invasions that you were a part?

It is hard to say what I am looking forward most on and also it is impossible to choose one single all-time moment. Our very first game in Pepsi Center against Detroit Red Wings in 2008 was very special. I will not forget on trips to Minnesota, Chicago, seating in skybox at the Avs game, NFL game, meeting with Joe Sakic. There are so many moments you could write three novels about.

Can you imagine you would be back in Denver again?

Of youse, but it will depends on various circumstances. Anyway, I will start work on the Invasion IX immediately after end of Invasion VIII and all of our members and supporters will be aware of it at www.eurolanche.com.

What would you tell to the fans that aren’t sure about their possible participation?

Eight organized trips in tremendous style speak for everything. Eurolanche Invasion is a life-time experience. There is no reason to hesitate.
