The Game
This is a brief column about the game against Phoenix Coyotes.The last game of Colorado Avalanche during the
Invasion IV was winning again! Avalanche has won 5 of 6 home games plus one
road game. The great and unbeatable record! The game was very good. Home team
had controlled game all the time. I would compare it to the game against
Winnipeg. The opponent was very weak, without chances, but got some lucky
goals. Varlamov had unbelievable saves – we could see them directly behind him
as we were in the first row. Quincey showed phenomenal comeback; he absolutely deserves
to be in the first team. There are two negative issues. Firstly, hit on Hejda
was dirty, but he is ok. Secondly, Duchene suffered knee injury and will miss probably
few weeks. I missed more goals in this game. It was very risky and could finish
badly for the Avs. I hope we will see more goals from our lovely team in the
next games. Only little bad issue now. Thank you Colorado Avalanche
