Eurolanche Invasion VIII starts tomorrow

Eurolanche Invasion VIII starts tomorrowMembers of the Fan Club will travel to Denver in the next hours.

The best trip in a history of the Eurolanche with the most number of participants. Those are ambitions of the Fan Club’s eighth trip to Colorado under a name ‚Eurolanche Invasion VIII‘. „Personally, I will travel to Denver for the seventh time, but still I couldn’t wait for it for months. I can imagine the other members came through the same. In total, 12 fans of five different countries travel this year. I think this number guarantees itself it’s going to be the best Invasion in a history,“ said Eurolanche President David Puchovsky.

Eurolanche Invasion VIII won’t be special only by the overall number of the participants, but also the projected schedule. „I started to work on this Invasion before last summer. Whole organization process took longer time than usual as there are going more members. So we bought plane tickets early and did everything to be ready at the end of 2015 year. I had been working on the schedule for weeks. Each day of our trip will be busy with many activities – and if something will have to be canceled or moved, there are millions of alternatives,“ said Puchovsky.

The highlight of the trip will be visits to two outdoor games that are scheduled for the first days of the Invasion. Firstly, the group will be in the stands for a duel between veterans of Colorado Avalanche and Detroit Red Wings. This Alumni Game is likely the last chance to see the All-Star players of both teams on the ice. Many Avs fans admired these players when they were younger. 24 hours later, Stadium Series Game is schedule between the same organizations – like a part of a regular season. „It was extremely hard to get tickets for this game on time. We managed to do it amongst the first fans, so we will be maybe only one such big group sitting next to each other. We will cover almost one entire row,“ explained Puchovsky.

Immediately after the end of the second outdoor game, the Invasion VIII crew will take an 11-hour ride to Las Vegas. They will spend two full days there followed by a two-day coming back trip to Colorado thru its south part. „We did quite the same long ride to Minnesota at the Invasion V. But this year, the schedule will be busier. We will visit many interesting places; Grand Canyon may tops them all. I think the number of scheduled visited states speaks for itself – four,“ said Puchovsky.

After a ride back to Denver, the Eurolanche Invasion VIII schedule will continue in a traditional way. There will be planned activities such visits to Colorado Avalanche games in Pepsi Center; visits to the practices; meetings with the players or private meetings and interviews; trips outside Denver; newly added sports activities; never-ending shopping of souvenirs; and great overall atmosphere. „We will share everything with other fans – from all over the world and mainly with those Europeans who couldn’t join us. The newest interaction between our trip and them will be live videos on the Periscope app,“ concluded Puchovsky.

Eurolanche Invasion project is unique not only in Europe, but in the world too. There is no other similar fan project that is annually organized for the games of the same NHL team. The event is planned for the 2016/17 season as well under a name Eurolanche Invasion IX. All Eurolanche members will be informed about a preliminary registration process in the next days at Eurolanche.com.
