The Game

We saw the classic duel between Colorado and Dallas. Our beloved team just knows it against the Stars. But it was a little bit different yesterday and everything could finish by our loss. Avalanche dictated the play of a game and had more goal scoring chances + shots than the opponent. The natural goal scorer was missing in this part of the game. Stastny is supposed to be him and he did not fail. It is shame that his teammates did not join him in the stats. They should. Stastny was solid with Porter and Jones. I had little worries about this line, but it was ok. Defensive pairs were good too. But why blue liners and offensive players could not have a good game on the same time? Giguere did not have a lot of work, but showed unbelievable saves on big chances. He is real professional and maybe the best goalie since Roy´s retirement. Finally, Mueller was worse than in his coming back game. He needs time, a lot of time.
