Team Czech republic has beaten Team Russia 2:1 after shootout, Semyon Varlamov wasn´t quite shure in shootout, but was great in the game. He received two goals from three attempts. In shootouts, he was overcome by Aleš Hemský and Jakub Voráček, he stopped David Pastrňák, in game was overcome by the captain Tomáš Plekanec. He stopped 33 shots from 34.

- Sweden - 6:3 - Finland (2:0, 1:2, 3:1)
Carl Soderberg and Gabriel Landeskog were playing for Sweden, but didn´t make any point. They played very good match, they get into a powerplays.
- Canada - 5:2 - USA ( 3:1, 1:1, 1:0)
Matt Duchene scored his first pre-tournament goal, Team Canada beats Team USA 5:2 in Ottawa at Canadien Tire Center. They both had very strong game, just were very good. Duchene scored at 12:11 of the second period to put Canada ahead 4:2. He finished some hard work by Team Canada forward Tyler Seguin, who fought off the check of team USA forward T.J. Oshie to pass the puck to Duchene in the slot.
