Second must win game for Russia in a row and second success thanks goaltender Sergei Bobrovski, who didn´t allow any goal from 21 shots of team Finland. Semyon Varlamov was again just a backup.

Czech Republic - 4:3 - USA (1:1, 3:1, 0:1)

Just a game of honor brought an interesting hockey with unexpected winner. Czech Republic decided about their win in second period, when they scored three goals and name of their hero was Milan Michálek. Only player from Avs on the team rosters Erik Johnson didn´t play.
