The Game
This is a brief column about the game against Los Angeles Kins.Colorado gained one of the greatest win in this year
2012. All players had very good game and their performances were extra solid.
For the first time in the season, I could not criticize anybody. Giguere would
deserve the shutout; he allowed only one weird and ugly goal. Kings´ players
had some strong moments in the game, but had to face strong Giguere every time.
The defensive part of the team has had the biggest improvement. Blue liners
tipped passes of opponents and play hard. Maybe only not successful four
minutes powerplay is alone negative point of this game. The co-operation
between Mueller and Stastny was great again. Peter is absolutely somebody
different if you compare him with his first three games of the regular season.
I would expect more from captain Hejduk who has a little weak part at the
present. Fortunately, his linemate scored. Sum up, it was great game by the
Avs, salute! Why could not it repeat again in the next night?
