Eurolanche League: A new record

Never before did four betters earn 11 points for a single game.

The basic rule of the Eurolanche League (including play-offs) is to predict the winner of the game, the player scoring the game-winning goal and the exact score (you have to include OT, if you think the game will end in overtime, or SO, if you think the game will end in a shootout). Points are awarded for each of the aforementioned categories (2, 4 and 5), thus bringing the maximum of points one can get to 11.

The maximum was reached at least once during each of the past Eurolanche Leagues. The last game against the Arizona Coyotes was a memorable one, as four better predicted the player scoring the GWG and the exact score. Six more betters earned 6 points for predicting Matt Duchene and five more earned seven points for predicting the exact score.

Up until now, earning 11 points during a single game was simultaneously achieved by two betters and happened only five times. It’s worth noting that during the past two seasons, we only registered three 11-point-predictions. During the 2012/13 season, we registered a total of eight 11-point-predictions.

Currently, the most successful better in this category is Andrej Foldi, who earned 11 points for a single game four times.
