Colorado lost another important game and clearly shows it will not make playoffs this year. You will hear this sentence many times in this season again. Edmonton´s play was not something special. Its players know now they will not have a chance to hoist the Cup. But they won. Oilers scored simple goals which were kind of “even-better-teams-used-to-allowed-them-too”. What was the answer from the Avs? Nothing. The offense was the worst part of the team. There is still missing big leader and probably star attacker too. You should look forward on the next weeks, because management is supposed to make big changes. Avalanche has a tons of average players. So Varlamov and the blue liners were solid. The rest of the line-up could not score. Teams fighting about the last playoffs spot lost their own games tonight. Colorado did not use it and lost too. Of course we saw Sacco´s fake chance in the third period. Look at the final minute of the game. Zero shots. So big “fight”…
