Eurolanche League nearing its half

Eurolanche League nearing its halfThis year’s edition of the popular betting competition Eurolanche League is nearing its halfway mark.

The NHL season is nearing its halfway mark and so is the popular betting competition Eurolanche League. All registered Eurolanche members can participate in the competition, with the goal being to predict the results of Avalanche games. Following the end of the season, the three best-placed members will receive a number of prizes – Avalanche souvenirs and memorabilia. We will announce the prizes after this season’s 70th Avalanche game.

The basic rule of each game (including play-offs) is to predict the winner of the game, the player scoring the game-winning goal and the exact score (you need to include OT or SO if you think the game will go into overtime or a shootout). Points (2, 4, and 5) are awarded for each of the aforementioned categories, with 11 points being the maximum amount of points one can earn for a single game.

The games and the Eurolanche League ranking is updated once every five games. You can either submit in a prediction for all five upcoming games, or submit predictions for one, two, three or four games at a time. In case you submit two prediction for the same game, the prediction you submitted first will be the one that counts. You can submit your predictions for a game until shortly before the start of the actual game. When submitting your predictions via our submission form, you need to include your FULL NAME without punctuation (not your nickname) and your contact EMAIL.

As was the case during past seasons, Eurolanche’s executive staff – David Púchovský, Rudolf Šerý and Jakub Klos – can also participate in the competition and are ranked in the Eurolanche Leage rankings, but they can’t win any prizes in case they’ll finish among the top three.

Up until now, a total of 40 rounds were played. More than 1 266 predictions were submitted, which equals an average of 27 predictions per game.
