The Game

Everybody should know the Avs played two games in two nights before the reading of this article. Players had to travel too. This team has no experience and nobody could not have big expectations last night. But I have to write I am very satisfied. Almost all players had very solid game. Varlamov allowed one stupid goal. I expected he became nervous, but it did not happen. He had great saves, especially in the key minutes of the third period. It was not maybe No.1 goalie performance, but OK. The entire team would like to play shootouts from the first second of the game. It was like “pat” in chess. It definitely was not nice hockey, sometimes I was bored, but this supposed to be the winning tactic. It is shame only defensemen scored goals. Attackers had several chances. Opponent did not play well in spite of Avs´ fatigue. One point is gold, but there could be more. Sum up, good game. We will see what happen in the next game after few days of the rest.
