Eurolanche Awards 2017

Eurolanche Awards 2017Eurolanche.com readers choose the best Colorado Avalanche players of the 2016/17 season.

During Eurolanche’s 10th season, we brought you a number of innovations. One of them was the opportunity to rate each Colorado Avalanche player, as well as the team’s overall performance after every game in the respective game’s summary. The ratings were on a scale from 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest number.

We are aware that the 2016/17 wasn’t positive for the Colorado Avalanche in any regard, which significantly impacted both individual and team ratings. Despite this, we chose to carry on with our new project, dubbed the Eurolanche Awards, and also chose to properly evaluate and sum up this season’s performances. We can only hope that the presented numbers will be significantly higher during the following seasons.

In all cases, we choose the top statistics only if at least 5 people submitted their ratings. In case of the season’s MVP, we choose players, who played a minimum of 41 games during the regular season.  You’ve rated a total of 79 games out of 82. We received 812 ratings, which is an average of 10 ratings per game.
