Eurolanche.com’s new editor-in-chief

Eurolanche.com’s new editor-in-chiefEurolanche’s main website has a new editor-in-chief.

Patrik Czepiec from Cesky Tesin, Czech Republic became the new editor-in-chief of the main website of the Eurolanche Fan Club – www.eurolanche.com. He replaces Eurolanche President David Puchovsky, who left the position due to the amount of work as the main administrator of the Facebook page of the Police of the Slovak Republic.

Patrik Czepiec joined Eurolanche in 2012 and worked as a writer until 2015. Following a short break, he returned to writing in 2016. Patrik is currently in his last year of high school and plans to get into a university focusing on journalism. During his high school years, he worked with a number of sports websites and big Facebook sites primarily focused on hockey, where he also worked as editor-in-chief.

Patrik will manage the editing staff of Eurolanche.com and ensure that the news section of the website is up-to-date. He’ll also manage the communication and training of new editors. In case of interest, you can contact him at patrik@eurolanche.com.

David Puchovsky founded Eurolanche in 2007. Since then, he supervised four versions of the Eurolanche.com website, while also acting as the editing staff’s editor-in-chief except for a short break. The amount of published articles increased substantially following the launch of the current design of the website in 2011. Since then, more than 6,600 articles in Slovak/Czech and almost 3,000 articles in other languages have been published on Eurolanche.com. In total, the fan club has published more than 10,000 articles throughout its existence.

David will remain Eurolanche’s president and a member of the fan club’s editing staff. He’ll concentrate on exclusive topics, social media and the possible creation of a foreign-language editing staff.
