One of the biggest moments to me was the first day, when we landed in Denver and went right to Pepsi Center to the game between Avs and Sharks. I was little worried about the entry customs to the US, but it went all smoothly. At the airport, David’s friend took us in his car to the hotel. He was really nice, but with my average English I did not understand him well. At the hotel, we were waiting on other Invasion VIII members, then took jerseys and went to the game. When we approached the stadium, a fatigue was quickly replaced by joy. My dream was coming true. In only 24 hours, I was really there. I watched all players at the warmups, the same players I was following on TV for years. MacKinnon, Landeskog, Varlamov… It was incredible. I was feeling whole atmosphere thru my whole body and at the end we celebrated a close 4:3 win in the shootouts.
