NHL is back, lockout is over

Adrian Dater of Denver Post was the first who
announced the end of the lockout. He was not even in New York, where most major
NHL journalists stayed. They were woken up for the whole night because the
talks between NHL and NHLPA took 16 hours.
Finally, the tentative deal is
done and there are not other restrictions for the start of the season 2013/13.
Some information talks about 50-game season and the early start. The training camps could start in the middle of the next week. The tentative deal was confirmed by Gary Bettman and Don Fehr.

- 7 year max contracts
- 8 year max contracts for own players
- 10-year CBA deal with opt out after 8 years
