MacKinnon won, Holos lost

In today’s 2014 Worlds schedule were two Avalanche players - Nathan MacKinnon and Jonas Holos. MacKinnon played against Team Sweden to berth the first place in the Group A, Holos faced Team Czech Republic to keep the Norwegian chances for Quarterfinals alive.
The Game between Team Canada and Team Sweden was so far the best game at this year’s Worlds. Swedish team had a 2:0 lead, but the Canadians were able to vanish it with two quick goals in the second period. No goals were scored in the third period and the game moved into overtime. The GWG was scored in overtime by Ryan Ellis after a nice 2-on-1 action.
Nathan MacKinnon was playing a really good game. His ice-time was 16 minutes and 53 seconds. During this time he recorded one shot on the goal and two penalty minutes. Also, he has a +1 from this game.

In the second game, Team Norway played against Team Czech Rep. Czechs scored an early goal and it was the game deciding goal. Jonas Holos spent today on ice “only” 20 minutes and 57 minutes and had one shot and a -1 point.
