Seven Eurolanche members from Slovakia and one from Austria will be staying in Denver for 17 days. The main schedule includes a visit of seven Colorado Avalanche games and an in-person meeting with the players. The whole schedule of the seventh Invasion will be very busy as you can see in this story. The Invasion coverage starts on the mentioned day at www.invasion.eurolanche.com.
Rudolf Sery, 27, comes from city of Poprad in Slovakia and it will be his third trip to Denver. He was a member of Invasion V and Invasion VI. He studied at the economy university and currently he serves as CEO in one private company. He has been a Eurolanche member for six years and since 2009 he has write stories and holds a position of Vice President.
Why did you decide to travel to Denver for the third time?
I like an atmosphere and friends who we met in Denver for the past years. I am happy for coming back there as there is not much time for a private life when you are employed. Fortunately, the Avs have great home series of the games during Christmas time that is only time when I can leave my company.
What are your expectations? Do not you worry it could be the same like last years?
My expectations are adapted on the fact that I know what I can await. I don't worry there could be the same. Of course I will visit the same places like last time but looking on the schedule I see many other activities that I have not experienced so far.
Rudolf Sery and Nathan MacKinnon during Eurolanche Invasion VI.
What are you looking forward on most?
On the new players in the Avs uniform - especially on Jarome Iginla. I am looking forward on the trips to San Francisco and Aspen - I believe the potential bad weather will have no affect on our plans.
What do you think will be different this time in comparison with last Invasions?
Overall organization of the trip has been more professional than ever as a record number of members will travel to Denver this year. We will stay at the same facility, we will have rented cars, so I believe it will be perfect. Finally, I hope there will be no sickness like last time!
Can you describe us your preparation for the trip?
Relax. My ESTA is still valid, everything is ready except a travel insurance. I know what I can expect so it would be easy to pack in.
What would you like to say to fans who are thinking about their participation at further trips?
It does worth. It is not cheap, but that memories will be alive forever. It is always special when you go there for the first time. It is a great experience - no travel agency in our region can organize such a great event like we.
