McKenzie: COL-DET in outdoor game

The NHL is expected to announce this weekend that the Minnesota Wild and Colorado Avalanche will host outdoor games next season, TSN's Bob McKenzie reports.
According to McKenzie, the Avalanche will play the Detroit Red Wings and the Wild will play the Chicago Blackhawks. "We're hopeful of getting the game, and it's trending in that direction," Avalanche executive Joe Sakic said for Denver Post. "Until it's officially signed and announced by the league, I can't really say much."
As I just said on @NBCSN pre-game show, expectation is NHL will announce this weekend outdoor games next season for COL and MIN.
