The 6th edition of the Eurolanche League
The 6th edition of the Eurolanche's annual betting competition, the Eurolanche League, has ended.The regular season of the NHL came to a close and so did the popular betting competition, the so-called Eurolanche League. The purpose of the competition is to find the member, who can most accurately predict results of Avalanche games. To enter the competition, one has to be a registered Eurolanche fan club member.
The basic rule for every game (including playoffs) is to predict the winning team, the scorer of the game-winning goal and the final result of the match (one has to include the abbreviations OT or SO for overtime or a shootout respectively, if predicting the game will go into extra time). Points are awarded for each of the aforementioned categories (2, 4, 5), which means that the maximum amount of points one can get for a single game is 11 points.
Eurolanche’s executive staff – David Puchovsky, Rudolf Sery and Jakub Klos – once again took part in the competition. Although they were in the competition’s leaderboard, they couldn’t win any prizes.
The past season, a total of 82 games were predicted, during which participants sent us 1 849 predictions, which amounts to 23 predictions per game.
