WJC: Jost quiet in win

Following the third day of the 2017 World Junior Championship, during which no Avalanche prospects were in action (Swedish goalie Adam Werner was scratched once again), Team Canada and forward Tyson Jost returned to the ice to face Group B outsiders Latvia.
Latvia – Canada 2:10 (0:3, 1:5, 1:2)
38. Krastenbergs (Tralmaks, E. H. Jansons), 48. Dzierkals – 11. Barzal (P. Myers), 12. N. Roy (P. Myers, Clague), 20. Raddysh (Chabot, D. Strome), 30. Raddysh (D. Strome, DuBois), 33. Raddysh (Clague, Joseph), 33. Barzal (Raddysh, Clague), 34. Cirelli (Dube, Speers), 36. McLeod (D. Strome, Fabbro), 43. Raddysh (Juulsen, Joseph), 59. J. Gauthier (DuBois, D. Strome)
The hosts dominated the Latvians from the get-go, striking three times during the opening period. Despite the fact that Carter Hart lost his shutout, Canada played even better in the second frame, scoring five times to pad up their tournament-leading goal differential. Only three Canadians failed to get on the score sheet, one of them being Tyson Jost, who had a rather uneventful game. He had a TOI of 12:33 and finished the game with a one shot on goal and a rating of -1.
Jost was one of the three Canadians that were held of the score sheet
