Invasion VII: Interview with Brano
Eurolanche Fan Club introduces its eight members who will travel to Colorado in the next days as a part of the Eurolanche Invasion VII.Eurolanche Invasion VII starts on December 26. Seven Eurolanche members from Slovakia and one from Austria will be staying in Denver for 17 days. The main schedule includes a visit of seven Colorado Avalanche games and an in-person meeting with the players. Brano Svec, 32, comes from Poprad in Slovakia and it will be his first visit in USA in his life. He loves hockey since his childhood and follows the Avalanche since 2001. He is married and has two-year old son. Brano is a principal of the language school in his hometown and plays an amateur hockey. He watched more than 500 hockey games, but never NHL.
Why did you decide to travel to Colorado?
I sait to myself it is a right time to make the dreams come true.
What are you expectatios for the trip?
I expect a life time experience - speaking not only about watching the games but also traveling around. I am looking forward on the town, nature, stadium, people etc.
What are you looking forward on most?
Besides the games I can't wait for the Avalanche practice, NBA games, Railorad museum and a ride to Pikes Peak. I can't forget on the meetings with the local people too.
Did you follow the Eurolanche Invasion in the past? If yes, what were your feelings?
I followed it and it has inspired me. It is a reason why I am now a member of this trip.
How does your preparation for the trip look like?
For now I just bought American adaptor :). And I love watching the NHL hockey more than ever in this season.
