Invasion IX: Interview with Ladislav
Eurolanche Invasion IX starts in January. 10 Fan Club members from 4 countries will travel to the US. We're introducing member by member in these inteviews.Ladislav Solnický, 34, comes from Pardubice. He’s been an Avs fan since 1992, when the Quebec Nordiques were favorite team. His big idol was and still is Joe Sakic. He became an even bigger fan after Colorado signed Hejduk, who was hands-down the best forward of the Pardubice hockey team for a long time. Ladislav works as an executive in a private company and the trip to Denver will be his first.
Why did you decide to go to Colorado?
Because I want to see my favorite NHL team in person and have the opportunity to meet the players.
What are you looking forward to the most?
I am looking forward to the games and the surroundings around Denver and the other cities.
What are your expectations from the trip in general?
I’d love to see the Avalanche have a seven-game winning streak.
Have you followed previous Invasions? If so, what attracted your attention? What would you like to experience?
I followed the articles in the ProHockey magazine for the past three years. First and foremost, I was intrigued that such a project exists and I immediately decided that I want to go there with you.
How long have you been a Eurolanche member and what do you think about Eurolanche?
I’m a member since 2015.
How do you like the organization and preparations for Invasion IX so far?
I’m completely satisfied. If it wasn’t for the Eurolanche Invasions, I would probably never have decided to visit the US.
