Invasion VI: Interview with Ales
Eurolanche introduces six members who will travel to Denver, Colorado next week.Eurolanche introduces the members of the sixth trip of Avs fans to Denver, Colorado. Eurolanche Invasion VI starts this week, on December 27th. Six Eurolanche members from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Austria will spend 14 days in Denver. The trip will be 17 days long in case of difficult traveling from Europe. Their schedule includes seven Colorado Avalanche home games, meetings with players, trips, and many other activities.
Ales Bubilek, 22, lives in Pilsen, and is flying to Colorado for the first time ever. A member of Eurolanche since January 2012. He is currently studying at Westbohemia University with a specialization on Electronics and telecommunication. He is interested in other sports as well.
Why did you decide to travel to Colorado?
Because it is my dream since childhood. I used to play ice-hockey as a child and Colorado Avalanche always was #1 for me.
Did you watch previous Invasions? What were your feelings?
Yes I did. I was always mesmerized by the amount of experiences of people that lived there.

What are your expectations?
I’ve tried to lower my expectations because I have the highest possible at the moment. I want to enjoy those two weeks in a way that I’m going to have something to reminiscence on.
What are you most looking forward to?
Of course the NHL games, and the game atmosphere. I’m also looking forward to Denver and the USA itself. I’m curious how the local people are going to behave, their mentality etc.
What are your preparations for the trip?
Nothing special from other trips, except more anxiety about this trip.
What would you say to fans who haven´t decided yet about their participation in future trips?
Let’s go! An opportunity like this perhaps does not pop up twice and it is a great chance for experience.
